自願來我們家免費當一次模特兒

所以我停工很久的油畫就開工啦 約三小時

(其實之前有兩張不太入目的風景啦)

Bob likes his portrait Jason did couple weeks ago,

so he came to our house to do a free model for us

星期一 這邊放勞工節的假 因為西雅圖這邊下雨
想說往東邊走天氣比較好 看到漂亮的地方就下去寫生
發現了這個點 還是偷偷鑽過人家的圍籬才到的地方
風很大 整張大概一個多小時畫完 畫得很趕 因為很怕突然下起雨
結果自己還算滿意 一整個夏天都沒畫什麼畫 總算可以交代了
I did this at the labor's day.
Seattle was raining. We went to east Washongton to find a good spot for painting.
I finished this one in about one and half hour because I worried it might rain.
Finally I got some painting done at the end of this summer.

本來是要畫抽象畫 畫著畫著具像的東西還是冒了出來
取名字的時候 竟然連詩都有了
剝奪了看倌發揮創意的空間 抱歉啦

一直覺得畫那些靜物畫 畫到了瓶頸 沒有突破
去上了一堂課 接受刺激 果然有新東西出現
照片上看不出來 其實整張是立體的喔
用畫刀堆疊了很厚的顏料 真是暢快阿　
(純黑可是傳統油畫的禁忌阿)
I am taking a class called " Modernist Painting" this quarter.
This one was done in the first class.
Pretty fun!

第一次畫裸體油畫寫生

兩個多小時 沒有構圖 沒有細節 只是想好好畫出皮膚顏色來

結果自己還算滿意

被裸男嚇到的 只能說抱歉啦

My first nude figure painting.

Two and half hours.

No composition. No detail.

This time I just try to get the skin color right.

The result is OK for me.
